Born in Beijing, Frank Chou observes life through the alternating lens of traditional and contemporary concepts. In 2012, Chou set up his eponymous design studio which has become the most representative independent design studio in China, and a leader in international design.
Chou sees his creations as experiments. He strives to create a balance between business and art, manufacturing and culture, daily usage and aesthetics. Elegant and timeless, his designs balance aesthetic differences between East and West through his unique perspective.
