Based in Italy, Mauro Lipparini leans towards natural minimalism in his work which is celebrated around the globe. He graduated from architecture at the University of Florence (1980), going on to win the prestigious 2011 Good Design Global Awards.
For Mauro design explores the tension between aesthetics and function, art and application. He explores this through home and office furnishings, textiles, architecture and interior design work with international brands, and through his eponymous design studio in Florence.
His style channels pared-down forms and clear, vigorous lines, the hallmark characteristics of natural minimalism. “I am ever on the trail of beauty and pleasure with a view to allying form and function,” he says.
