This is a 1970’s vintage advertisement for Swiss luxury leather house de Sede with the non-stop DS-600 sectional sofa is styled like a giant snake.
A serious status sofa, the DS-600 is also known as The Snake, or the Non-Stop Sofa. Styled here with a giant brontosaurus, the sofa looks like an oversized centipede, or could be interpreted as artistic extension of the dinosaur’s tail.
Interestingly, around this time the sofa was logged by the Guinness Book of Records longest sofa in the world.

The DS-600 non-stop sectional sofa was designed in 1972 by Swiss and German designers Ueli Berger, Eleonore Peduzzi Riva, Heinz Ulrich and Klaus Vogt.
