Ligne Roset remains at the forefront of contemporary design and a firm favourite at DOMO for more than 25 years. Its collaborationswith established and emerging designers see the brand constantly evolve, with designs and innovations that truly set it apart.
With much of Ligne Roset’s furniture being compact and customisable, its pieces are ideal for apartments and urban living, and can be tailored to suit individual lifestyles and colour palettes. These are a selection of highlights from the 2021 Ligne Roset collection.
Manarola (pictured above) is a remarkably comfortable sofa. Wanting to reinvent the exceptional comfort of Ligne Roset’s all-foam seating of the 1970s, Philippe Negro designed the whole seat like a single large cushion placed on a light timber base, and the metal frame enveloped in foam.
Ipanéma (picture above) is inspired by the promenades of Ipanéma beach, as well the organic bean shape characteristic of Oscar Niemeyer’s designs. The sofa is relaxed and elegant, with curvaceous and voluptuous proportions.
Uncover (picture above) is a light and compact sofa with a cover that fits like a glove. The skin-like upholstery accentuates the curves and angles of the sofa, and it offers flexibility as you can change the cover if you wish.
The Moa (picture above left) reclining armchair reflects the beauty of simplicity, with its shapes perfectly formed through their function.
Canaletto (picture above right) is a modular series of cabinetry with stunning finishes, especially the ribbed glass. The cabinetry is available in a variety of shapes and sizes and the finishes, shelving and lighting can all be customised.
Stendahl (picture above) named for the nineteenth-century French writer, is the ideal accompaniment for the modern office. Lacquered or fabric-covered doors conceal shelving and a pull-down desk, and the units are fixed to the wall, so they optimise floor and storage space.
The impressive base if the Enneá dining table (picture above) is composed of three interlocking triangles made from solid wood. Recalling the light and robust pyramidal structure of a crystal, the construction creates balance and tension in the table’s design.
The Istrana console table and Demi-Lune umbrella stand (picture above) are striking individually or together. They have a simple and elegant minimalist design, with stained-black lacquered steel frame paired with Carrara marble for the table, and brass-coated steel for the umbrella stand.
DOMO’s exclusive collection of Ligne Roset furniture is on display at its seven showrooms across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria, and viewable online at www.domo.com.au.
