Amis de Jean already exists as a pendent light and wall-mounted arm version. This year Ligne Roset adds the floor/reading light. It seems so obvious to do this now! Black lacquered steel base and shade that is enamelled white within. The shade can be swivelled 360 degrees and the angle changed to direct the 75W halogen bulb where you will.
This light has a certain nostalgia to the 1950s and, as such, is a perfect companion to Pierre Paulin’s designs such as Andy and his playmate Archi.
A family company since 1860 when Antoine Roset opened a wood processing factory in France’s Ain province, Ligne Roset is now that country’s leading furniture exporter, with a presence in 71 countries worldwide. It is led today by the fourth generation of the Roset family – brothers Michel and Pierre and their sons Antoine and Olivier.

Such design collaborations have seen Ligne Roset win many accolades including the Red Dot Design Award on a number of occasions. The Red Dot dates back to 1955 and is one of the world’s most distinguished design awards.
All Ligne Roset products are developed at the company’s own factories in Briord, France, to ensure quality control from beginning to the end. The Ligne Roset name is stamped on each product as an external symbol of perfection.
