Description
The immediate success of the Asola table lamp led Ligne Roset and Evangelos Vasileiou to further develop the range with the addition of a spectacular Suspended Ceiling Light. Constructed according to the same principle, the Asola Suspended Ceiling Lamp offers extreme purity of form. The simple association of three cylindrical forms of differing heights and diameters, confers an air of clarity, a guarantee of timeless seduction.
This pendant light is a glimpse of the Seventies and Eighties, as much in terms of the material used – perforated steel – and its white colour as its stylised mushroom-like shape. The latter evokes the emblematic lights of the period such as Giancarlo Mattioli’s Nesso light (1967) or Mario Botta’s Shogun (1986), which was designed for Artemide.
The suspended light is suspended from 3cm x 150cm steel wires with ‘coulistop’ mechanism. The white lacquered ceiling fitting H 3cm x DIA 12cm. The shade is constructed of three perforated steel cylinders. Epoxy white lacquer finish.
