The Charlottenborg sofa’s elegant curved back blends in with the armrests, both of which are beautifully integrated at the bottom of the sofa. The sofa is fitted with a firmly upholstered seat and loose back cushions.
Charlottenborg is handmade in sustainable Indonesian rattan by skilled wicker makers. Sika-Design carefully selects rattan for furniture production to ensure the highest quality. Rattan is a remarkably strong and indestructible material, and therefore rattan design furniture can last for generations.

Arne Jacobson
Born in Copenhagen in 1902, Jacobson was a Danish architect and furniture designer. He studied architecture and showed an early interest and aptitude for design. Jacobson eventually became one of the godfathers of modern Danish furniture and minimalist Danish design. His furniture and other design work have become national and international heritage.
