The fluted glass Doric Table Lamp by Oriol Llahona for Ligne Roset follows the tradition of Venetian mouth-blown glass – but with a contemporary reinterpretation.
Its light source is judiciously inserted into the brushed brass ‘handle’ passing through the upper part of the corrugated glass. The downlight emitted through the glass creates a beautiful mood light for a bedroom or a small living room.
The clever Doric Table Lamp is in fact reversible. So the lamp may be flipped over so that light emits upwards. Even though it looks like a portable light, it is not designed to be mobile.
