Discover the Terrace House in Surrey Hills, design by Coroneo Architects. This ‘Project One’ exemplifies the art of transforming an existing residence to enhance functionality within a compact layout. In the renovation of this two-bedroom terrace home, emphasis is placed on maximising natural light, improving usability, and creating open, liveable spaces.
Lead architect Alexandra Coroneo meticulously ensures every aspect is addressed through innovative design elements, such as elevating the ceiling to flood the area with natural light and create an airy ambiance. Adjacent to the Terrace House’s living and dining areas, a small courtyard enhances the connection between indoor and outdoor environments, promoting an influx of northern light and natural greenery. A versatile floating bench seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor spaces, and optimises dining arrangements, catering to the needs of urban living and accommodating larger gatherings effortlessly.
Though compact, the Terrace House exudes opulence with high-end finishes and intricate details. This is showcased through the rich emerald marble tiles in the renovated bathroom. Also seen through the sleek dark laundry equipped with premium tap ware and discreet sconce lighting, with a concealed, elegant design amplifying storage.
Styled with various furniture and decor pieces provided by DOMO, including the Ligne Roset Togo Modular Sofa, perfect for small sunken living zones.
