The ICONS rattan furniture collection by Sika Design contains precious iconic pieces by the Danish pioneers of rattan furniture design.
The rattan and cane chairs, sofas, tables, bar carts, footstools – and more! – are revitalised pieces from some of Europe’s most skilled and important architects and designers. Arne Jacobsen, Nanna Ditzel, R. Wengler, Franca Helg, Franco Albini, Viggo Boesen and Tove Kindt-Larsen were all pioneers of this time.
As pioneers, the designers broke new ground when creating experimental shapes from the study of rattan and wicker, creating sculptural and timeless icons. It is with great respect and admiration for the original designs, and their descendants, that this ICONS rattan furniture collection has continued to thrive.
