Authentic Ploum Settee in Australia’s Most Stylish Living Rooms

You may not know its name, but you may recognise the silhouette of an authentic Ploum Settee by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Ligne Roset.

Its free-flowing, jellybean shape graces the living rooms of interior designers and tastemakers in Australia and around the world. Scroll down to see the Ploum Sofa in Australia’s most stylish living rooms.

What is the Ploum Sofa inspired by?

In French, ‘Ploum’ translates into English to mean ‘Plum’ fruit. The organic profile of the Ploum sofa really is reminiscent of a plump plum. It has rounded curves and inviting contours, with its soft, gentle curvature imitating the fullness of a ripe fruit.

Is the Ploum Settee comfortable in real life?

Yes, the Ploum Settee is very comfortable to sit and lie on. With its family friendly shape, array of durable fabrics and sprawl-ability factor it works well in most living zones. In fact, the Ploum sofa ticks these boxes too, as it is:

✔️ Super comfortable (the Bouroullec brothers spent hours upon hours of research into sofa comfort).

✔️Red Dot design award winner.

✔️ Crafted by hand in France by Ligne Roset.

✔️ A visual delight.
