Designer and interior architect, Marie Christine Dorner, is acknowledged as one of the leading figures in the revival of French furniture design. Her elegant yet functional pieces offer individuality and uniqueness.

With an affinity for structured design pieces, Dorner appreciates the spiritual and human power of Japanese form. As result her furniture pieces have been inspired by origami, the Japanese art of paper folding.

Dorner graduated, with honours, from the École Camondo in Paris in 1984, then after globe-trotting she worked abroad including Japan. Founded in 2008, Marie Christine Dorner’s design business focuses on major interior architecture projects, tableware, jewellery, lighting projects and key teaching positions.
