The de Sede DS-612 Coffee Table series is a proven classic with a modern translation. This time-honoured pedestal table has survived passing furniture trends and has proven its worth as a classic table model. Designed by Mario Ferrarini, the DS-612 Coffee Table features a solidly designed column on top of which the delicate tabletop floats.
The solid columns and tabletops are coated with de Sede’s DS-TELA material, which is an innovative coating of stone which provides a distinctive and elegant finish. The tabletop is constructed of a strong MDF core and the column is made of moulded plywood, then coated with the innovative DS-TELA stone coating. The table is handcrafted in Switzerland.
Whether for a public interior or the privacy of your own home, DS-612 occasional table is an all-rounder designed to give the interior a classic but at the same time modern and colourful touch.

After graduating from industrial design in Milan, Mario Ferrarini began practicing as a consultant for a number of renowned architecture, furniture and product design studios. In 2007, he opened his own studio in Switzerland. Ferrarini works to create products that are timeless and transcend passing trends. Balance is his principal goal, while aiming for aesthetic and functional solutions.
