Description

The Oxydation Low Table collection draws inspiration from contemporary architecture, sculpture and research into the materials used, in particular, the natural properties of oxidization. It is thus a case of combining ‘sustainable’ materials such as stone or metal and making them into an architectural shape. The Oxydation tables combine a simple shape with a complicated texture and are a mix of traditional techniques and highly advanced technologies.

As it oxidises, metal can bring some unexpected results: each table is naturally unique and one will certainly discover a myriad of variations in its oxidised top. Proximity to salt air may accelerate this process.
