With deco influence, the brief for the 1046 Glen Huntly apartments was simple. Project Friday sought to create liveable spacious living within a boutique development. Tecture architecture took design cues from the surrounding cityscape and parks and crafted chic spacious residences.
Located in Elsternwick, a diverse inner city suburb of Melbourne, the apartment is nestled within parks, schools and bustling shopping strip. Using possible future apartment guidelines, the 1046 Glen Huntly residential development focuses its attention towards light and amenity.
With none of the 2 bedroom apartments under 80sqm, the spacious plans aim to replicate apartments seen within the deco era – which marries to the context and proposed built form.
The 1046 Glen Huntly apartments are styled with various furniture and decor pieces provided by DOMO, including curvy Bold console, black Toy side table and marble Oasis coffee table and Oasis side table by HC28. The open plan living kitchen features green velvet Bola side chairs by HC28 Cosmo. While retro ambient lighting is provided with the Cinetique floor lamp by French taste makers, Ligne Roset.
