Step inside Brunswick House by Lisa Breeze Architect, beyond the heritage facade lies a beautifully restored original home with clever and contemporary extension. This multi-level addition provides a comfortable and spacious family home, expertly blending heritage elements with contemporary design. A light-filled void staircase centres the home, opening up to an open living area and sunken lounge. Featuring exciting pops of colour including electric blue carpet and a peek-a-boo pink bar cabinet, the Brunswick House oozes joy and personality whilst retaining its Edwardian charm.
From the open kitchen and living space, out to the lush landscaped garden to take in the view of the Brunswick House extension, cleverly cladded in diamond shaped panels which act as an ode to the Edwardian heritage weatherboards below. Private from the street and acknowledging the original roofline and footprint, the residence is the perfect retreat, nestled away on a leafy, quiet Melbourne street.
