Cheltenham House by Page Stewart architects is a federation-era home that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living. With heritage cornices, mantle pieces and floorboards, the old part of the home successfully melds with a stunning new extension.
This chic, natural aesthetic home holds contemporary indoor-outdoor living at its very core. As a result, the open plan living kitchen showcases inviting landscapes from nearly every window. Step from the dining zone into the raised concrete patio to relax or entertain with ease.
Back in the living zone, Karin Bochnik selected a curved grey Berlin sofa by HC28 and round DD side tables by Wittmann to draw comfort around the gas fireplace. Monochrome black and white art from Studio Gallery adds impact on the walls.
Nearby in the kitchen, the natural stone counter tops are graceful and refined. The timber cabinetry adds further warmth to the space. Eat meals at the counter top, or sit comfortably at the Fika dining table with leather and brass filagree de Sede DS-515 dining chairs tucked beneath.
The renovation and extension espouses a neutral toned re-design that’s connected to the outdoor living zone and pool. Cheltenham House retains its original charm, but the home’s updates amp up the modern materials, details and liveability.
