Park House in Brunswick, Melbourne is a light-filled, double-storey 1880’s Victorian terrace which has enjoyed a spectacular transformation by Amiconi Architects. The updates effectively blend old world and new world together to produce a warm, textural and welcoming home.
Aptly named Park House for the leafy parks that nestle within in the neighbourhood, this residence had not been touched for close to 50 years. With the tidy integration between the old and new parts of the home, the re-design enables the owners to flourish whether relaxing or working at home.
The refreshed design includes a new family and living room styled with a Togo Modular Sofa by Ligne Roset and Solveig Floor Lamp. Further to this, the invigorated dining zones showcases a sleek black stained oak Intervalle Dining Table and mesh-velvet Unbeaumatin Dining Chairs by Ligne Roset. And to top this off, the north-facing backyard ensures the home is now flooded with natural light.
At Park House, additional privacy is added to the family home with a curved brick boundary wall sheltering the rear living space from the adjacent train and bike path.
Park House, Brunswick is a spectacular example of architecture that blends new and old eras together with style.
