Project Blue by Studio Joy creates a fun and playful environment in the home of artist Kirsten Jackson. Located in the bayside suburb of Hampton the home celebrates colour and abstract art. Interestingly, Kristen is a renowned Melbourne-based artist whose art focuses on bright abstract works.
In styling the bright and character-filled home, designer Kristel Marshall of Studio Joy assisted by Bea Lambos, paired luxurious pieces from DOMO. The furniture items selected feature the Plumy sofa in colourful soft velvet, mixed with pastel tone Mila side tables by Ligne Roset to offset the walls of peach and blue.
To add a hint of glam to the living space, a gold leaf floor sculpture was added into the mix. With walls in blue, peach and crisp white and light timber parquetry flooring, Project Blue celebrates joy and colour with perfect balance.
