Step inside the monochrome home Woodlands, Mt Eliza, where a connection to the local landscape through materiality and design is key. This inspired and textural monochrome home has enjoyed a significant renovation and extension. The result adds valuable and functional spaces to the existing family home.
Through the continuation of materials including concrete, solid oak and burnt wood panelling, the result is a surprisingly warm, joyful and light-filled space. Complementing the monochrome home’s finishes, predominantly black and white styling by Bea Lambos adds character and shape to the home. The styling features fan-favourites from Ligne Roset including the Prado Modular Sofa and Pumpkin Swivelling Armchair, designed by Pierre Paulin. Marble accents add a layer of luxé via the Astreé Floor Lamp and Amadora Occasional Tables.
Accenting the burnt wood panelling in the entryway, the Ligne Roset Tambour Large Bench in black stained oak and rattan adds a functional zone. The sleek concrete and oak monochrome home kitchen is softened with the Ligne Roset Mojave Table Lamp with a soft upholstered base.
At monochrome home Woodlands, tying it all together is the graphic Attalea III Pure Wool Rug from Halcyon Lake.
