Returns & Exchanges
At DOMO we take pride in the quality of our furniture and homewares collections. Attention to design, crafting, detailing, stitching, and finishing are important to us. We endeavour to make our returns and exchanges policies clear and easy to understand. Here are our returns and exchanges policies.
Change of Mind
For furniture: With items purchased at our stores (excluding pre-order, custom order, and final sale items) within 7 days of furniture delivered to your home, you may return your items for a store credit of the merchandise value, minus any delivery charges.
For homewares: You must notify DOMO within 7 days of your intent to return an item. Returns of non-furniture items (homewares) are subject to a full credit minus any delivery charges within 7 days of receipt of goods.
Proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges for change-of-mind purchases. Items must be returned in original packaging or as new. If appropriate, shipping fees may apply.
Returns under $300 with an original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment. Returns over $300 will be approved by Head Office and issued via wire payment into your nominated account within 7 business days upon completion of a payment request.
Refunds are issued when a product has a major problem or is faulty and is approved by management.
Returns with a gift receipt will be exchanged at the original purchase price in the form of a gift voucher.
For pre-orders, custom orders: We cannot accept returns unless the goods are deemed faulty or covered by the consumer guarantee provisions of the Australian Consumer Law (see Damaged or Faulty Goods below). We also cannot accept returns of items damaged through normal wear and tear.

Final Sale Items
For furniture and homewares that are final sale items, including floor stock and clearance items, there is no grace period and there are no returns or exchanges offered for change of mind. Upon sale, a Condition Report is completed which is agreed to and signed by the customer at time of purchase.
We cannot accept returns unless further damage is discovered outside of this Condition Report, the item has a manufacturing fault, or covered by the consumer guarantee provisions of the Australian Consumer Law (see Damaged or Faulty Goods below). We also cannot accept returns of items damaged through normal wear and tear.

Damaged or Faulty Goods
Upon receipt of goods from DOMO, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any faults or damage within 7 days.
Our goods (including pre-order, custom order and final sale items) come with the guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

For returns, these must be returned to store within 14 days, or have a pickup scheduled within 14 days of your return authorisation.
Store Credit
DOMO may issue a store credit for change of mind purchases. Cash will not be issued for any unused portion, only store credit. A store credit cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can it be used to purchase gift cards.
Store credits are valid for 3 years from date of issue. Store credits may be used for part payments and may be used to purchase sale items.
When a store credit is applied for an exchange of goods which is higher in value, then the difference needs to be paid. If the exchange of goods is lower, a store credit is issued.
Cancellations
With pre-orders of standard items in standard finishes, cancellations are accepted up to 7 business days from order placement including deposit. Deposits paid under $300 may be returned as a store credit or may be refunded in the original form of payment. Deposits over $300 are issued by wire bank transfer within 7 days.
Should DOMO deem there is a valid reason for a pre-order cancellation after 7 days, orders already in production are subject to a minimum cancellation fee of 25% of the pre-ordered item’s value.
With custom-orders, cancellations are accepted up to 7 business days from order placement. Deposits paid less than $300 may be returned as a store credit or may be refunded in the original form of payment. Deposits over $300 are issued by wire bank transfer within 7 days.
Should DOMO deem there is a valid reason for a custom-order cancellation after 7 days, then any upholstery/fabric costs associated with the cancelled order must be paid, in addition to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the custom-order’s value.
Should exceptional production or shipping delays occur, and a client has not been notified, DOMO may issue a full refund or store credit. An exceptional delay is defined as: an order arrival date being delayed by over 6 months from the original quoted arrival date. Causes of an exceptional delay are out of DOMO’s control and may be due to, but not limited to, a change of shipping routes, world crisis, fire, theft of cargo or labour strikes.
