The symmetry of tall grown, succulents inspired French designer Mickael Koska to create the Cactus Light. The result is an illuminating sculpture made of borosilicate glass for living spaces.
Koska’s work with cactus underlines what he calls “to give life to surprising natural creations”. The Pulpo Cactus Light showcases his preference for simple lines and with a strict focus on only the essential. Each piece is made of borosilicate glass and the centrpiece is from alumiunium.
Bubbles, streaks and other variations in size and colour are part of the production process, and not defects of the design or production.‎
Trained in cabinet making in Paris, Mickaël Koska is self-taught and passionate about design and art. Koska is making a name for himself, particularly after opening his Koska studio and design brand based in Marseille in 2013. Koska is inspired by his life and childhood in France and enjoys working with recycled materials
