Christian Werner, a German industrial designer, specialises in the design and development of ‘rational’ furniture. After studying industrial design in Berlin and Hamburg and working in the design trade, he founded his studio for product design and interior design in 1992.
Werner brings the principles of ergonomics and logic into harmony with style through form and materials. He looks for tension in the simple and does not orientate himself on short-term trends. Werner’s designs have been honoured with the Red Dot awards.
