Established in 1965, de Sede is considered the Rolls Royce of the furniture industry, producing sculptural and sophisticated leather furniture that takes a modernist leaning. The company grew from a small saddler’s workshop of skilled craftsmen, established in Klingau, Switzerland.

de Sede chairs have served as props in two James Bond films: the S-231 Armchair in “On Her Majesty’s Service” (1969) the DS-2100 Skeleton Chair in “Casino Royale” (2006) while the DS-600 Snake Sofa appeared in the “Hunger Games” (2008).
