Description
The curved Lundi Vase is a handmade vase with a deliberately unfinished-effect, created of enamelled earthenware.
The Lundi Vase came from Guillaume Bardet’s incredible project, ‘l’usage des jours’ or ‘the use of days’. For one year, between 21st September 2009 and 22nd October 2010, he designed one object per day, according to his own ideas and the seasons, with the obligation of never, ever repeating himself. This monumental work was then produced by ceramicists from the Drôme region of France, with certain items being produced by the Manufacture de Sèvres.
Guillaume Bardet was awarded the L’intelligence de la Main prize by the Fondation Bettencourt for his work, presented at Maison & Objet 2014.
