The Oda Lamp by Sebastian Herkner for Pulpo is an iconic balloon shaped glass light on four pin-like legs.
The design is directly inspired by the industrial monuments photographed by the famous Dusseldorf Becher School. For the design of Oda, Sebastian Herkner bundles into a lamp, the outer shape and inner function of a steel casting foundry.
This lamp’s glowing homage to light provides the ultimate source of cosiness. As a result, the design has become a reference to contemporary lighting design.
Each original Oda Lamp by Pulpo is created from coloured handblown glass. The frame is constructed in either steel; powder coated or chrome plated, or brass. Bubbles, streaks and other variations in size and colour are part of the production process, and not defects of the design or production.
Energy class: A++ for Oda Small / A+ for Oda Big, Oda In-Between and Oda Medium.
