Nanna Ditzel was one of Denmark’s most innovative designers (1923-2005). Ditzel trained as a furniture architect, always led by a desire to create, rather than to a specific genre of work.
Ditzel designed and exhibited for many years across a range of disciplines, from jewellery to furniture and textiles. Known for playful pieces and organic shapes which are both eye catching and minimalist at the same time.
Though Ditzel began her studio in Copenhagen, she spent much time in her later years in London as a sought-after interior and product designer.
