A Modern Retreat of Light, Texture & Connection
Welcome to Deepdene Modern House, a residence where refined design meets effortless livability. From the moment you arrive, the home heralds calm elegance and considered detail, establishing a sanctuary that balances contemporary luxury with warmth. Nestled within is an array of design-forward and practical furniture items, which complement the property’s effortless livability.
Materiality & Spatial Flow
The architecture anchors itself in tactile finishes and a restrained palette. Warm timber floors lead into spacious living areas, while expansive glazing frames the garden and sky beyond.
Here, an arc-shaped olive green DS-600 snake sofa by de Sede sits effortlessly, inviting presence and encouraging social connection. Comfortable and shapely DS-707 Canada armchairs were selected to help frame the space.
Indoor-Outdoor Seamlessness
The open-plan living, dining and kitchen zone forms the heart of the home, leading to a landscaped courtyard or pool deck. The boundary between interior and exterior softens. Carefully selected outdoor furnishings – such as a HC28 Lotus pillar dining table, Lotus curve side tables and Ligne Roset Ottoman outdoor setting – complete the picture.
Tailored Zones for Family & Flow
Designed with flexibility in mind, the layout supports both togetherness and quiet retreat. Separate living niches, guest accommodation, or multi-generational quarters.
In the rompus room, an ecru TOGO setting by Ligne Roset cosily sits upon a textured Tube rug. While in the sitting room a 1970s re-edition of the Kashima settee by Michel Ducaroy in a jeweled green velvet greets visitors.
A Home That Endures
Deepdene Modern House is a home built for lasting impact and effortless living. Strong architectural form, premium materials and a design intent that transcends trend.
